"Lovely casual dining vibes. We ate on the patio and ordered a variety of pastas which were all quite tasty. I particularly enjoyed the beet salad and the tagliatelle bolognese."

"Wonderful local recipes, great service. Lots of locals eating here. Meats cooked perfectly. Josper charcoal oven specialities, the vegetarian special was delish!"

"Very good. The tortelloni in brodo were excellent. The costaletto special was a touch dry, but the saltiness of the prosciutto rescued it."

"First place we ate at while visiting Bologna and what a welcome. Elegant atmosphere, amazing food, well trained attentive and smiley staff. Was just perfect. Husband and I shared a plate of meats and cheeses, then I had small ravioli with truffle, he had steak that came on a sizzling platter. The dessert was to die for, a marscapone mousse and chocolate affair with coffee biscuit. Excellent wine recommendations, couldn’t be happier with the place and understand why the hotel recommended them so highly."

"A beautiful restaurant in Bologna. The food was delicious - we had Squacquerone cheese and mortadella for starters, and tortellini in brodo and tagliatelle alla bolognese (both of which are typical pasta dishes from Bologna) for mains. I also had a glass of wine and gelato with balsamico for dessert. We paid approx. 45 euros per person."

"If I only have one night in Bologna, this small, simple restaurant is where I want to eat. Fresh local ingredients shine beyond the traditional dishes, while still respecting the heritage of Bolognese cuisine. Cold cuts, salads, fresh pasta, grills and delicious desserts, plus an impressive wine list. This is the place to eat pasta with a traditional Bolognese ragu and also Bolognese lasagne. I love the response from my food tour guests when I bring them here."
